here’s a way to explain crypto to new people: a blockchain is basically a book that we all own and can write in when one person writes something, it will also show up in every one else’s book this means that if one book burns, the information is never lost finance is a great first usecase for this book, but as these books get more advanced (scale) you can start writing stories on them, and eventually put the entire internet on there. so imagine a truth machine that can never be silenced or shut down.

I like the book analogy. More approachable than saying “database.”
