Will buy for the parents. They actually really only use it as a phone, occasionally camera on vacation, and to check email once a day. They prefer their iPads.

Im definitely considering it for my mom as a birthday gift. My current phone is 16 Pro Max and I’m really satisfied with it.for my mom I’m looking for a phone that’s powerful but not too expensive, and the16e seems to be ok.

No - I always get the Pro phone / this feels like an afterthought
