Next.js 13’s new “app router” was clearly inspired by SvelteKit, but the transition from the old page router seemed rushed and quite jarring by comparison (even marked as “Beta” in the announcement).

Doubtful most existing Next.js projects have migrated over so far.

I didn’t know SK is only 1 year long.
It seems more polished and thought through than more established React counterparts.

Shallow Routes may sound like a gimmick for anyone who never used layouts in SvelteKit. Exciting!

never used it but i love the vscode plugin for creating pages and routes from a right click in the sidebar

Curious what issues you ran into with mdsvex?

It's lacking good MDX tooling. mdsvex is not very good

Besides that I 100% agree
