Something to be said about the sheer volume of devfluencer tutorials and boilerplate code available for React compared to other frontend frameworks, further cementing its dominance in the LLM era (for better or worse).

It’s enough to bias the models such that Cursor will occasionally hallucinate React hooks and JSX expressions despite me working in a Svelte codebase (though the models seems to be getting more discerning over time).

Learning how and when to nudge AI assistants toward lesser-known but objectively better building blocks will be a competitive edge moving forward.

💯 agree with the final statement.

By definition the LLMs spit out mid code which means we're going to be inundated with more and more mid and slow code.

Knowing how to escape that trap will be key.
