I was dreading working on a web3 svelte app that requires ethereum and cosmos wallet connections. All the web3 libraries are react with some having vanilla option

But it turns out you don't need a svelte option. Just pull the vanilla @wevm wagmi lib and it just works. Shit just works like that

Svelte’s ecosystem is huge because it’s trivial to adapt vanilla JavaScript things. (It’s about to become even easier when Svelte 5 drops this April!)

In React, everything has to be wrapped or rewritten in terms of React providers and hooks – it’s practically a different programming language.

I remember once upon a time seeing posts from former Angular devs excitedly explaining that they didn't need React-specific libraries for everything because React worked great with vanilla JavaScript libraries!
