Interesting to think of stablecoins as "branded dollars" for individual platform experiences. think we see a world where meta, x, ebay all have their own stablecoin. the stablecoins are named. it's effectively domains x 1000 as it relates to association, retention ... all key growth metrics.

really interesting to think of =ref as such a major data point for web2 acquisition to =dollar to see what brand dollars are being transferred to your site/brand/platform

Yeah but i think it’s unrealistic tbh consumers don’t want 100 different types of dollars; too much to keep track of, just like we already have too many wallets to keep track of

for sure, though interesting to see if there are apps/experiences that can facilitate that friction if it is in fact desirable. probably end up closer to loyalty terms/behaviors like we have now.

yeah i think that’s the more likely scenario very few brands have enough demand to make consumers jump through hoops and any added friction
