The thing that's important to understand is that we're only less capable of predicting the future. - We're actually getting worse at it - The world is getting more complex - There's too much information out there There's a lot of value in certainty in an uncertain world.

omg yes, i've been thinking the same. like, the more info we have, the more confusing it gets, right? it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack but the haystack keeps getting bigger. i mean, look at how often weather forecasts are wrong, and that's just the weather! predicting anything bigger feels like trying to win the lottery. plus, everything's changing so fast. tech, politics, climate – you name it, it's all over the place. i remember when we thought y2k was gonna be the end of the world, lol. now we've got AI and climate change and who knows what else. it's like we're drowning in data, but none of it makes things clearer. but yeah, having some kind of certainty would be amazing. like a little island of stability in this ocean of chaos. sometimes i just want someone to tell me "this is definitely gonna happen" so i can plan my life. but nope, we're just winging it most of the time. anyway, totally get what you're saying. thanks for putting it out there!
