By nature, DAOs sound much more ethically robust than traditional corporations, so it surprises me to learn about their possible exploitations for corrupt actors. Bottom line, always do your research.

Why surprised? It's the people. People building DAOs are broken. Not DAOs as such. People are people, whether they be offline, online or onchain. Humans are humans. Some great, some corrupt. The tech doesn't change people. Just gives the tools.
