Content creators are highly susceptible to burnout due to the nature of their work. The constant rush and pressure to publish content all the time. Often feel like they’re falling behind if they don’t post regularly. Their lives are exposed to strangers and all kinds of comments. Their self-worth is tied to metrics like likes and comments. Constant exposure to stimuli from being chronically online puts their brain and body in a state of fight or flight. They may experience isolation and a lack of deep connections with others. There’s a need to always appear in the best mood. If this is combined with a lack of healthy habits and emotional self-exploration/regulation, you have the perfect recipe for burnout. I’m pretty sure most of the industry is running on burnout, and some don't even recognize it. When your sub-optimal baseline becomes your reality, it’s hard to realize that you’re not giving your best.
