So interestingly, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is not the kind of game that nails first impressions— That’s fine.

Believe it or not, my first impression of Baldur’s Gate 3 wasn’t great, but it quickly became one of my all time favorite games.

DD2 is rough but it has some really great, enjoyable game qualities.

Performance is a big issue but things the game does extremely well:
-Combat is frantic and fun, especially against strong monsters
-World design is gorgeous, much more lively than the first game
-Exploration is stupid fun, with tons of chests hidden everywhere
-Skills and spells look gorgeous
-that 4K STEAK COOKING

I remember plowing 50h+ in the first one. Would you wait until the performance issues are patched with this one?
