Anyone here worked on an eng team that processed more than 100M background jobs /day? Starting to run into issues with our setup. Looking for ideas on what people typically turn to at this scale.

Uber scaled Cadence (now Temporal) to something like ~12B/workflows and ~270B actions per month. Probably the wrong stack for your hub architecture though.

this is for warpcast, not hubs. we use temporal's hosted service for a handful of critical jobs. but its pricey at scale, likely 20k - 30k per month at our volume.

We also used temporal and outgrew it because we hit bottlenecks - it’s great for Ubereats use case but not for small high scale transactions
