If I wanted to create a generative NFT that makes a new variation of a header I use in my weekly email newsletter -- what would be the best way to make that happen?

What do you mean when you say generative? Using AI?

Week-to-week I want to create a new version of a reference image. The goal would be to have an established visual vocabulary, but also add a little bit of variation or surprise each week. Ideally, the header image could refer back to an NFT collection so people could go check it out if interested. I'm trying to figure out the best way to do that, it seems like this is a thing, I'm just not familiar with the process.

You could do it manually with something like MidJourney or ChatGPT by attaching the reference image and adding some prompt variation. Then take that image and make it an open edition on OpenSea or something.

Yeah, maybe I should start there and see if I can get the results I want. I haven't really done much prompting for visuals, so I should look into that

There’s definitely an art to prompting. It takes a lot of fine tuning and trial and error from my experience. In another note, I’m not sure if the NFT aspect is really necessary for your purposes, if it’s only a new header

Yeah for sure the NFT stuff is unnecessary. I more want to do that aspect out of interest. For the past 30+ issues I've been using an AI prompt to create a new header image each week (and not creating NFTs from them) but I want to kind of level up and hopefully develop a more unified visual design for the newsletter. Right now the output is kind of all over the place. If I go through the process of creating incremental changes to one image each week, I thought it would be fun to curate all of the versions in a collection, which is what led me to the NFT idea.
