100%. There was the mindspace you were in when you took the note, and when you read it later.
There is a difference in those mental states, and the flow of your brain's mental states, based on external and internal pulls.
What I try to achieve is to hone my mental states to where those mental states are diverse enough to be able to think of things from different point of views as I am going throughout life, but at same time build consistency and be able to transition out of mental states; aka not get stuck.
There's a certain structure the mind has to be in to accomplish the task: with the right questions in mind, the proper framing, the context, environment, and so on. The hard part is when you write a note down, and when you read it later, and know you want it done, and it's almost as if you lack the mental facilities to get back to why you wrote it down in the first place with the building blocks to carry out the task in the way you want it done. 0 reply
