“decentralization” is such an overloaded term

the real properties it embodies that matter & that we should talk about more:
 - availability
 - resiliency
 - redundancy
 - verifiability
 - inclusiveness
 - …

what does decentralization mean to you?

thankful to be a part of this abundantly distributed community

Decentralization is sort of a catch all for people that have the general anti centralization stance: a preference and emphasis on and for the edges. In a general sense, I "like" or "want" decentralization but it doesn't really mean anything nor does it solve anything. Decentralization serves as a psychological interest rather than an answer in social consensus. 

The question is about the future. what are you trying to solve; what are you trying to build? Where are you at in that journey and what story do you have to tell about it?
