There's also a great essay by Rebecca Korvo in PMVPC (p. 59 of the print version) in which she talks about reducing TV viewing, especially violence-as-entertainment. I appreciate that essay so much.

I'm so glad you republished this one. I'm not ready for giving it up but I do limit media consumption before prayer and ritual.
