I don’t know if there is a cabal chat, but I do know that one of the best ways to get know people on Farcaster is not on the timeline, but in small group chats. Want to be an OG? Get behind a builder here. Try their product. Give them constructive feedback. Try to break things and report bugs. They will invite you to chats. 

Join /hypersub of creators. Most of us have our own private chats. 

Join DAOs. They have chats too. 

Contribute authentically and people will notice.

For real. Lately I've actually been about 5x more active in small group chats than I've been in public.

For a long time I just didn't get why people would even bother with group chats. But that was before I found *good* ones. Big difference.

The format doesn't work for everyone, I'm sure, but I'm finding I enjoy small groups more than public chats lately.

One part of it is that I know everyone who's paying attention to the group will at least *see* what I write there, which makes it more worth the time to write something thoughtful. On the timeline, it all gets buried quickly by the algo.
