My makeshift solution (for a studio apartment) is to just sit close enough to the subwoofer that I can feel the bass vibrations. Hardly the ideal listening position, but it does have the tactile element, so there's that...

The dream, our sub in the living room, we got it next to the couch and it does vibrate the couch a lot 🥹
