Ok, love all this degen stuff, but may need to grow our following/feed. Will obviously be scouting for careful, slow, attentive, shy, meticulous, politically profund, slowcore, philosophical, playful builders & artists on our own, but if anyone comes to mind, please let us know ๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿ”ฎโคต๏ธ

Happy to welcome slow-culture folks, though I'm on the fence about the strategy of trying to grow a following. Actually, after reading Tom Beck's latest essay, I'm thinking a lot more about what might be possible by deliberately *limiting* the following, or at least refraining from any sort of outreach...

Point taken. But is there not also an important difference between quantity and quality here? Tbh low quality feed of the day was the incentive. So it was a frank desire. But the jargon may have been a boast-my-post. Out of habit, supposedly. So point taken. Need to invent a more intelligent way of asking. Suggestion?

Not sure I follow what you're asking here, but yes, there's a difference between quantity and quality, and we want to incentivize the latter. My conjecture is that attempting to "grow a following" may not be a good way to do that for this channel.

Agreed. What was asked for was "careful, slow, attentive, shy, meticulous, politically profund, slowcore, philosophical, playful..." This would be what we would call quality. The problem, supposedly, is how to find ppl with these qualities, insofar as one criteria seems to be that they are withdrawing/hiding/shy etc.
