@logonaut.eth ➡️ What’s the latest news with MM Snaps? I was so excited when I first heard Taylor talking about it in an ETHDenver presentation (wow, the wallet extensions I’d dreamed of 🥳) … but that was almost two years ago, and it’s still in open beta.Who’s building them? Who’s using them? What’s planned?

Thanks for asking @logonaut.eth! I'm happy to share that you can start using Snaps already with the MetaMask extension. Explore the Snaps available in our directory: https://snaps.metamask.io and let me know what you think!

The plans for snaps are deep, and they'll be improving a lot over time: 1. As we add more integration points & APIs (including UI, assets, accounts) 2. As we expand how easy it is to become a snap publisher 3. As we make snap installation more seamless/invisible during onboarding.

That third point is a current area of focus for Kumavis (MM founder 0). We're working closely with Agoric to pioneer new super developer friendly ways to compose snaps that retain our high bar for security.

Thanks for the reply and insights, Dan. I’m hoping to see more wallet standards emerge so that wallet extensions are used much the way browser extensions are — I still think a browser is a better mental model than a wallet.
