1/ what is snapchain, and why does it matter for farcaster? 🤔 snapchain is a data layer for farcaster that keeps social interactions (casts, likes, follows etc) consistent and synced across apps. it makes sure that whenever you engage with content, everything updates in real-time, no matter which farcaster client you use.

2/ is snapchain a blockchain? not really! instead of a full blockchain as we know like ethereum, snapchain works like one but is optimized for more efficient and faster social data.

3/ before snapchain, farcaster used something called deltagraph to store data. snapchain replaces it with a better system for keeping things in sync. this means: ✅ more reliable data storage ✅ faster updates across apps ✅ less reliance on centralized servers

5/ think of it this way: snapchain = the database 📦 neynar & airstack = the search engines 🔍 apps don’t have to build their own storage solutions, they just tap into snapchain through neynar/airstack APIs.
