does anyone even think of predicting wether something goes down? feels like everyone tries to predict either something goes up or not. might be a good mental practice to start seeing downtrends again

Always an interesting experiment if you're reading a chart as bullish, to flip it upside down and see if it convinces you it's going down. If not, the bullish sentiment was probably hopium.
