If you didn’t skate in the early 2000s, you might not know how much resistance we faced back then. I used to skate but my trick list wasn't diverse:
- kickflips were easier than an ollie
- 1 out of 20 tre flips
- never grinded
- 5 stairs was my top shelf
- made a frontflip once
- done some nose/board slides though

that was really cool, but I never caught the "skating" vibes.
skaters in my hometown were super nice, but once I moved, I had noone to skate with.
