Farcaster

I love Farcaster because I love the people here. Twitter is a superficial popularity contest. I spent a year trying to grow there and there was zero correlation between number of followers and number of friends. Here, there’s a very obvious one. I’ve met coworkers, roommates, and probably lifelong friends on Farcaster.

Bring back cozy corners. Focus on an app that genuinely builds connection. I don’t know exactly how to do that but it’s what keeps me coming back. I haven’t made a single penny on tokens here because I have no interest in it. Maybe that puts me in the minority here but I do think it’s the majority stance of people outside of crypto.

social app that puts everyone into a 4 people group chat splits.

don't like the group? leave it and get rolled into another one
don't like it too? help the app correct your interests to match with other people

liked it? stick through and rule the outside world with your cabal.

i think that such group can increase in size as long as people chat a lot there and the AFK kick window increases.

4 people -> afk window 1 week
6 people -> afk window 4 days
10 people -> afk window 2 days

etc etc

large groups fail, you have to stick with it somehow
