can "dislikes" work in farcaster?

if Reaction would accept an arbitrary type of reaction as Links do, can one build a successful app client that would aggregate feeds better based not on just likes but dislikes too?

for compatibility such messages can be sent via @superanon, without showing dislikes data publicly.

nah you can technically add a reaction type that can be used as dislike or downvote

i doubt so.

reaction types are strictly defined in protobufs

to that matter i like Link's choice of non-strict "type" field

you can pretty much create any link to a user like "@dalechyn.eth codes with @samuellhuber.eth" (type: "coding") which is super cool but underexplored
