Just received a dm from someone with a link to @farcaster-dog “airdrop claim”.

This app doesn’t use SIWF but requests whole signer key (where you pay with warps).

Whenever the app requests a signer key, they can do anything with your account.

Please be very careful when you connect your account to any apps.

The supposed dev of this project (goes by `@const6ntine` on x), is positioning this project as if it’s introduced by Farcaster

In case if you did:

Settings -> Advanced -> Manage Connected Apps

no fip to have a granular access to signer key exists afaik

yeah this is scary because it can change the whole account it can change bio, even farcaster username, i think there should be FIP to limit what can we do with signer key or is there any that i dont know of?
