as I live in a EEST timezone I often miss events that I see passing in my feed.
i feel frustrated that I missed an opportunity to connect with people, but at the same time given a hint that if I really don't want to miss it – i should follow the next event more closely.

so, for events specifically, maybe feed algo should evaluate if cast is "no longer relevant" and opt out from putting it in the feed?
does similar apply to any other use-cases over here?
