The most annoying FUD over the last 2+ years has been that rollups will never decentralize. Progressive decentralization isn't a meme, and Optimism deploying their permissionless fault proof system is evidence of that. Ignore the narrative spinners, and back the builders.

who said that? I don't think it's necessary to be sentimental about it after all the criticism was when certain ecosystems were being criticised for the same reasons i.e. lack of decentralisation
