If crypto is going to be the "future of finance," it needs to be built on the most reliable, battle-tested, and secure infrastructure. Right now, Ethereum and it's fast maturing rollup ecosystem is the only network that is close to fitting this build.

The most annoying FUD over the last 2+ years has been that rollups will never decentralize. Progressive decentralization isn't a meme, and Optimism deploying their permissionless fault proof system is evidence of that. Ignore the narrative spinners, and back the builders.

There are many reasons as to why ETH will win. Most notably, though, it is the only ecosystem that has strived to guarantee its long term sustainability. Not only is Ethereum and ETH sustainable, but it also upholds this whilst retaining maximal decentralization and security.

With many other ecosystems now pivoting towards modular scaling, it's important to remember that: 1. Ethereum did it first (despite relentless FUD) 2. L2s on Ethereum are more secure (superior settlement layer) 2. Ethereum is powered by ETH (the most productive asset in crypto)

L2s will innovate and scale far quicker than any self-proclaimed "high TPS" L1 blockchain - especially now that we have EIP-4844. By leveraging Ethereum for security and DA, L2s teams are able to put all of their focus into reducing cost, and increasing speed.
