Dug deeper here, it’s essentially a vampire attack: “With USDB, developers can earn rewards simply by switching from other stablecoins into USDB using Bridge APIs. This approach maintains all the benefits of stablecoins while addressing key limitations in the current market. Our orchestration capabilities mean we can offer these advantages without any speed tradeoff—converting to fiat or other stablecoins instantly as needed. Conversions between USDB and other stablecoins, like USDC, are free. USDB offers a different approach to stablecoins by combining rewards, security, and flexibility. When USDB is used, Bridge pays developers the majority of the underlying earnings from the underlying treasuries as a fee. These rewards come without compromising speed, cost or interoperability, as USDB can be easily exchanged between fiat currencies or other stablecoins with no incremental minting, burning, or conversion fees.”
