Just used Brazilian PIX for the first buying a shirt on the street — buttery smooth This is the #1 way for street merchants because it’s free within Brazil, and no need to have minimum or get 3-5% taken off from payment rails. I just know stablecoins will devour traditional networks

Take it easy. Pix is good but there are many merchants who do not declare full value. So it exceeds the declaration value then comes the federal revenue taxing the account. And the pix is a more easy way to see who is moving and the value. With the current government you will pay more than 5%

Absolutely spot on! The efficiency and cost-effectiveness of PIX for local transactions are game-changers. Stablecoins offer similar benefits globally, making traditional payment systems less competitive. Excited to see how this evolves.
