How often do you say the word “interesting” in conversation? 

My friend remarked last night that it’s a vague filler word, and he’s right. I use it that way far too often.

It’s sort of like how startups call themselves a “platform.” Doesn’t mean anything.

I do use it. 

But thinking more about it, i don’t use it for filler, I actually use it only when someone gives me an insight or angle I haven’t thought about.

I wish I said it more often.
