What is an example client in the web2 space that is a host for multitude of games/apps? App Store is for discovery so that does not count.

best parallel i can think of off the top of my head are games which became worlds and hosts for other games i.e. how DotA spawned out of the custom games universe of WCIII, or how minecraft and WoW have other games within them probably the future we're heading towards with some hoops to jump through on the way
