Wait what?? Is this the same on base?? Is it due to a low amount of nodes on Zora?

Base is faster if you have a Coinbase account. Because it's Coinbase's L2 network, they'll bridge Base ETH instantly to L1 when you transfer to your account. Otherwise, native bridging from Base to L1 within your wallet is *also* a 7-day wait period, same for any Optimism L2. https://docs.base.org/tools/bridge-faq/

The 7-day settlement period from L2 to Mainnet is actually part of the Optimism protocol itself. It's a security measure to minimize the risk of bridge hacks/exploits. https://review.mirror.xyz/-Pjf5ss6cAWdy5J7i6VigzMbiSWU3Lllw6y-FV2c6k4
