i remember having the public/private likes convo with @dwr.eth when warpcast was rolling out the “likes” tab on the profile. he said it was a discovery tool. i said it was a cancellation tool. we all know how every debate with @dwr.eth ends. interesting X will now move them private. thoughts?

exactly... I think naval or someone said you can learn way more about someone on twitter by what they like as opposed to what they post ppl probably liking a lot of conservative stuff and getting canceled

Here’s the thing though…we accidentally like tweets when doom scrolling and then suddenly there’s folks in DMs asking me why would I endorse something like that 👀 Bro it was a mindless thumb slip 👍🏻 not an endorsement In that sense….hiding makes sense
