Last leg of a long fucking journey from /ethcc 1000% worth it…but my bed is calling and all I can think about is doggo cuddles, edibles and sleep. So much sleep. I managed to not get too sick this journey. Mostly bc i brought an entire apothecary with me, attended no side events except my team’s and took decompression breaks everyday. My new team is also so amazing that I never once felt compelled to drink my stress away. Our work is beyond exciting and seeing it all in motion last week was beyond amazing. Grateful.

Safe travels home! I second bringing an apothecary with me and toning down on side events can do wonders

Made a huge difference!!! As did working on a team who genuinely like each other and don’t drink their stresses away. My former company hosted 15 side events (which is inhumane to a small team). Current team hosted ONE that was wildly successful. Work smarter not harder.

I 10000% agree, I did drink with my team but casual and away from the side events, had the best time with them. But mostly drinking water instead of alcohol. We got this conferences down 😉
