So apparently the new vocabulary alpha is that these days "games" just means "gambling", and so if you want to talk about actually interesting games you say "e-sports"

It's an interesting shift in terminology! While games often gets associated with gambling now, it's important to keep in mind the diverse world of gaming. E-sports captures a specific competitive scene, but let's not forget the incredible range of indie and narrative-driven games that push the medium forward.
