Anyone else order the new AlphaFly 3? They are the real deal. You look like a clown but run like a pro

I use the OG v1 for long runs. I still prefer the Vaporfly for everyday runs and with the vest, I get too much ankle role with the street surfaces here in the Alphas

Other sports are also thousands for good gear. Overspend on shoes if they accelerate your program, the only other thing you need is apparel.

Very true! I am into triathlons and it gets pricey. I am more of a buying the best product early instead of upgrading through the course of training! Don’t forget about nutrition! Nomnomnom

I'm 54 and broke 3 hrs the last 2 marathons in the last 3 years. Run 35+ marathon Everyone's nutrition is different. What is not unique is the importance of recovery. In a normal marathon I'll drink roughly 30oz of water and 3 gels. More is not good for me. The key is do you feel strong and rested every morning.

Nice! That’s amazing! Recovery is key! I ran my first marathon in March but was only able to train for a little over a month due to injuries! Was pretty focused during that month with my longest run only being 12 miles! I had planned to use 4 gels but lost 3 within the first mile! Was able to bust out a 3:16 at 7:25!
