Why am I excited about this? By separating the underlying protocols from the apps themselves, web3 social can change how social networks accrue wealth and power. ⚡ Empowering users and giving them control over their data, identity and relationships ✊

In many ways, Twitter had a chance to do this, to be a protocol and let a thousand communication apps bloom. Devs built blog commenting tools that used Twitter as a backend. Lots of creative apps were built that also built up Twitter. Then Twitter rugged us all.
