This instrument was originally played instead of oud and had four strings. The early guitar consisted of three two-part strings held in place by a string. The middle of the wires usually had a depression in the shape of a circle, which was decorated with carvings. The design of the guitar was based on early musical instruments. That is, the tuning type of early guitars was based on C-F-A-D.
