Hey Dan, when clicking the scroll button on any DC chat, it goes the opposite direction. This only happens on DCs.

It works fine in the feed, but in DCs it's inverted.

We have inverted scroll — meaning scroll always starts at the bottom (newest messages). This is different than home feed. Are you experiencing something unexpected here when you press "scroll to latest" or just found the reverse scroll odd here?

Whatsapp web - Normal. X DMs - normal. Facebook DMs - Normal. I have only experienced this reverse scroll in Direct Casts.

How are you doing the scroll on these? Do you have an external mouse or a trackpad connected? I am assuming we are missing a scroll event handler for something you are using to reverse and make it feel accurate to you.

Already answered to Dan, but just in case... I'm on Windows and any mouse can do the auto-scrolling. You have to click the the scroll wheel and it activates a special mode where you can move the mouse up or down to scroll the page smoothly without needing to keep turning the wheel. According to chatgpt: Auto-scrolling with the middle mouse button is mostly associated with Windows.
