for anyone curious this is the reason we can't have a chronological feed (even though 90%+ of users want one) Warpcast team doesn't see that the quality of the algo feed is downstream of having the basics right (chronological feed ensures good visibility for new posts early on, boosting quality of discussion) so instead they try to tweak an algo that isn't being fed good enough content in the first place

You should really use another client. You’re never going to win this argument.

People create their accounts using Warpcast, and more than 90% (I think) of users use Warpcast as their primary client. This makes Warpcast crucial in shaping new users' first impressions of the platform. While decentralization is beneficial and there are other Farcaster clients available, the initial user experience on Warpcast is critical. If new users do not like Warpcast, they are unlikely to explore other clients, potentially impacting overall user retention. Ensuring a positive user experience on Warpcast is essential. If the platform does not meet user expectations from the start, the likelihood of them staying and exploring other clients diminishes. __________ Warpcast could introduce a toggle button to enable or disable the chronological feed. This would allow users to choose their preferred feed type, catering to both those who appreciate the algorithmic feed and those who prefer a chronological one. Test it and run a poll. I know you like polls.

Most new users churn because lack of interesting content. Algo feed solves for this.
