Trump signed an executive order to establish a Bitcoin reserve and digital asset stockpile. The reserve will initially only hold confiscated BTC ($18B) and will later look at options to acquire more using a budget neutral strategy.

Short term crypto prices reacted negatively perhaps because the market was optimistic about outright buying. Long term this executive order is bullish for the industry.
