do you guys realize how wildly lucky most of us are to be “knowledge workers”? it grants us the benefit of working remotely, not worrying about slowing down physically, engaging with innovation, and accessing better earning potential and flexibility to pursue our own interests. please don’t take it for granted.

I agree that being a “knowledge worker” is having lots of benefits: - work remote - no hard physical work - travelling for conferences ⬇️

But I recently realised that this is not enough once you want to settle down. Since prices are so high, getting someone to fix stuff around your house is expensive, so much that it is good to be able to do at least some handy and hard work.
