My experience with blockchain commerce so far is paying is too slow.

Tap pay embedded in cards is gold standard: no confirm, no sig, just wave it.
Apple Wallet close second since usually in hand.

What's stopping blockchain payments from shimming into Apple Wallet or a physical card?

this is the problem with thinking crypto is a good idea for commerce

consumers want zero friction

crypto will always have more friction than centralized commerce because of it's decentralized nature, so centralized commerce will always dominate

it doesn't matter tho, we have bigger goals to achieve

As for the friction, for already crypto users try to buy an NFT on Uniswap or Opensea, that's much easier than entering card details.
