Grief is a funny thing. It doesn’t work in a perfectly linear method of healing; it seems to ebb and flow as it pleases on a whim, catching you without warning. This year, it’s the Eagles making playoffs. It’s standing in the same spot I last hugged you. It’s the weddings you’ve been absent for and the future babies who will never hear your singing. It’s knowing the twins would be talking again if you were still here. 

Another year has gone by without you far too quickly, and yet three years without you has felt like a lifetime. 

We think about you and talk about you everyday to keep your memory alive. We love you. We sure do miss you like hell, Teresa.
