Every Wednesday I go through the constant cycle of debating if I go to basketball. It’s my favorite sport to play and the one I’ve played the longest, but for some reason I get this internal dread thinking about getting ready to go. When I do, I’m always glad I did, so I know know why I go through this every week 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’ve lived in four different states, and one thing I’ve come to learn is not to take where you are for granted. When I lived in Buffalo, we were 30 minutes from Niagara Falls. We went so often when family visited that the beginning awe for the sight faded into “cool, its water” (I was also an angsty teen). In Philly, it was the food, the culture, and the history. What’s something in your city/area that you or others around you might take for granted?

Just got four lobster tails, a pound of thick cut brown sugar bacon, a 1.15 pound strip steak, 1.2 pounds of salmon, 6 pounds of chicken thighs, and a few other weekly essentials for under $80. Some of this will go in the freezer for a rainy day, but I love a good Kroger meat counter sale🎉
