THE TRANSITION 

Once upon a time
When days were archaic
Love in every clime
Cos living's low stake
The church bell would chime
And subjects would shake 
Their thoughts are sublime 
And ideas were "wake"
A man in his prime
Would suffer remake 
Won't result to crime
To better his make 

Now new day is come
Those ages are gone 
New era takes form
All crime sorts are born
High stakes, low income 
Work hard, low return
Sanity goes "hum"
Brotherhood is torn
War, weapon, and bomb
Order of the dawn
We strife like a swarm
Forgetting "union"
