Not expecting to find myself on a "top users" list, but here we are... πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Curious to know how/if those of us on this list who aren't πŸ€–s can level up and get PBs - without which one feels very much a second class citizen.

I've made the case for you to get a PB at every opportunity, including when Dan asked directly for recommendations. Yet you're still waiting, and I'm still not seeing many of your casts, even though I follow you and have replied to your casts several times. C'mon, PB algorithms, get with the program!

Danica, I really appreciate your efforts - and I think this highlights what I see as an unfortunate probable "self-reinforcing system" that will make latecomers to the platform (or people who have been around for a long time but who spend more time IRL and only post rarely) into an underclass whose posts get little engagement, and so they have even less interest in posting and engage more and more rarely and finally leave. I'm still hopeful that we are early and can bend the curve on this; but I've been early on Medium and Twitter - and in some ways, I'm seeing the same (problematic) things happening here, but on a faster scale. It starts as an "open timeline" - then some people are "verified" which skews Main algo in their favor. Tools are made to find "bots" but those put their ⭐️/πŸ€–on many humans (including me) who suffer collateral damage in the algo. The Main/Recent split, AI mods, etc only widen the divide between the classes. All that said, still here, still optimistic, still thankful! πŸ™‚

twitter is brutal these days, extremely difficult to break through, even moreso than here IMO

Yes... Twitter has changed a lot, and not for the good, IMO... I've still got a large following there, but much prefer the WC experience overall despite the issues I've highlighted, none of which are untractable, IMO, and most of which are being solved by an iterative approach which I appreciate!
