Animated PFP's are going away on Warpcast 😔 This was a much loved feature, but caused crashes and performance issues for many Android users. There was no easy fix. If you have an animated pfp, we'll show it as a static image going forward.

I noticed yesterday that Warpcast Desktop (macOS) was consuming too many system resources. A process called "Warpcast Graphics and Media". Is this it?

this is wild, you'd think it should just cache them? guess we finally know why warpcast is such a data hog, but the fact that my feed is full of auto playing videos and somehow the pfps are to blame seems odd
