What about a paid verification status? If someone doesn't want to get filtered out they can verify themselves similar to the X verification. You'd then have two users bases within priority: Power Badge and Verified.

This also might help with spoofing in the future.

The cast author will create a second account or have a friend tell them and then they will complain.
